Tracking Elaina
Today I was back in the Audient 8024 studio to continue recording drums guitar and vocals for the track Elaina with Jaxon Arundell (Guitar, Vocals, Composer & engineer) and Sean Visser (Drums). Check out some photos from this fun session.
We were unable to book the live room for this session so we decided to do our complete one room set up in the control room. This was a fun experience as we not only had to take OHS concerns into account but also needed to maintain freedom to move for both performers and myself (desk engineer).

Working fast we managed to set everything up well enough to get a good sound. The boys played through the track a few times ironing out a little arrangement. Which gave Jaxon a chance to mix the files and this is what he came up with.
