Sharing My Happy Place

Over the past year I have been lucky enough to get my chance to make my mark on the Trance scene of South East Queensland. During this time I have curated a nice body of work all recorded live in various nightclubs. I utilise the platform MixCloud to share my live sets and you can find my recent body of work here: Doctor Duck MixCloud.

I have had great success on this platform with my last set down at Platinum Nightclub Broadbeach reaching 20th on the Psytrance Chart and 45 on the Tech Trance Chart.

This platform has been wonderful for me, it is free to use, pays royalties to artists and allows me to upload all my sets in one place. I have really worked hard to make sure all artists are credited for their work and I've used custom artwork from each event to make each post look as good as they sound.

Each set has been a learning curve for me discovering what works and also understanding the dynamics of posting sets to social media. For recording these sets I use my iPad with a very handy dongle the iXJ2 by Tascam with CD quality stereo recording this little beast is a DJ's best friend.

I am really hoping this page will share with people the passion I have and the journey that I am on. Hopefully over time it can capture the creation of my specific sound and even my own productions getting their public litmus test.
