Before the pilgrimage
Luminosity
For those playing at home I am off to Zadvoort in the Netherlands to visit the Mecca of Trance Luminosity Beach Festival. This will be my second visit to the worlds premier trance event.

As I pack my bags in preparation I thought it would be a good time to reflect on this journey I've embarked on and shared with the world.
In The Studio
For the past few weeks I've really been working hard to try and get myself ahead of schedule to allow this trip to be enjoyable and hassle free and in many ways I've really ticked every box. My project with Amor "Silence" is right on schedule as our project and pre-production plans have been on point. Our work with the graphic designer has been really easy as well she seems to have worked out exactly what we are looking for and did an amazing job with the vocals for our track.
On a personal note even with the setbacks of my motorcycle needing a complete engine replacement and rebuild I've managed to schedule my time effectively to accomplish all my project milestones. I have fallen a little behind on planned blog posts however, I have mad detailed nots and plan to catch you all up in due time on my return. Plus give you my wrap of this amazing event I'm attending.
I am a little disappointed I've missed out on a few opportunities for some interesting projects and hope that upon my return I can really seize every opportunity that comes my way.
IN The CLUB
Sunday at Capulet nightclub in Brisbane saw one of my personal inspirations John 00 Flemming play an open to close journey set. He is perhaps one of the nicest artist I've ever met and the integrity he displays with his blogging, music and social media presence is something I aspire to. His set was simply perfect; the control of a dance floor shown was truly that of a master craftsman utilising every tool at his disposal to work that dance floor. At one stage I noticed him working the low frequency EQ knob subtly removing the low end then bringing it back in at opportune times to get people up out of their seats and grooving along.
This was my second open to close with J00f in Brisbane and I made a point of being there right at the start which was great as I had a chance to have a chat with him before the crowd arrived which was fantastic as he is a very approachable DJ with great presence and the ability to hold a great conversation while warming up a dance floor. I even decided to use one of his tracks for a case study that is to come later. I am really looking forward to seeing his set at Luminosity on Friday.
MY Ride
I realise it's the first time I've shared the fact that I ride a motorcycle so it's only fair that I show you a little pice of the glory that is "Express Post".
See you on the other side......
